What it is
We register an individual entrepreneur (IE) and open a bank account in Georgia while you stay in another country. The price is $550 turnkey, and it already covers all costs: the state fee, translation and notarisation of documents, a permanent legal address and a Georgian SIM card. We post the bank card and SIM card to you free of charge. No hidden extras!
A Georgian IE (individual entrepreneur) is one of the simplest ways to do business legally and get paid by clients. With small business status the tax is 1% of turnover up to 500,000 GEL a year.
You do not have to come to Georgia to register: everything is done under a power of attorney. You sign the power of attorney at a notary in your country, and we take care of the rest — registering the IE, opening the account and delivering the card.
Who this is for
- Freelancers and IT specialists working with foreign clients.
- Entrepreneurs who need an account with a Georgian bank and a 1% tax rate.
- People planning to move to Georgia who want to set up their business in advance.
- People who cannot come to Georgia in person.
How to register an IE in Georgia remotely
Remote IE registration is done under a power of attorney. We send you the ready text, you sign it at a notary in your country — with an apostille if needed — and send us the original. In Georgia the power of attorney is translated into Georgian and notarised, after which our representative registers the IE at the House of Justice.
- Consultation and choosing the type of activity.
- Signing the power of attorney at a notary in your country.
- Sending the original power of attorney to Georgia.
- Translation, notarisation and IE registration.
- Opening a bank account and issuing a card.
- Delivering the card and SIM card to you by post.
What the $550 includes
We deliberately quote one final amount. It already includes all costs: the registration state fee, translation and notarisation of documents, a permanent legal address and a Georgian SIM card. We post the bank card and SIM card to you free of charge. No hidden extras!
IE taxes in Georgia
After registration the IE can apply for small business status. With this status the tax is 1% of turnover as long as annual income does not exceed 500,000 GEL. Above that, the rate increases. An IE files a declaration every month — even with zero turnover. If you need, we can take over the accounting.
