The NAPR fee applies to the registration of entrepreneurs other than IEs, including LLCs.

What it is
A limited liability company (LLC) is the most common form of business in Georgia. We prepare the incorporation documents in Georgian, provide a permanent legal address and accompany the founders through registration with the National Agency of Public Registry.
Under the Law on Entrepreneurs, a company's founding act includes the charter and key details: the name, the legal address, the identification details of each partner and of the persons with management and representation powers. The legal address must be the company's actual address in Georgia.
An LLC can have one or several partners. Registration is carried out by NAPR; the standard term is one working day, and a same-day option is available.
Registration creates the company — and nothing more. A bank account, tax regime, licences, employees' right to work and residence permits are separate questions with their own rules.

Typically required:
- Passports of the partners and the director.
- A legal address in Georgia.
- For a corporate partner: registration documents duly certified for Georgia, with a Georgian translation.
- For registration through a representative: a power of attorney prepared for use in Georgia.
Documents issued abroad are submitted in duly certified form. We confirm the list for your structure.
In person or remotely
Partners can attend in person or act through a representative under a power of attorney. Some steps may require notarised signatures.
Important to know
- Registering a company does not give a residence permit, a right to work, a bank account or a particular tax status.
- The general profit tax rate is 15% (Tax Code, Article 98), but what is taxed and when depends on the regime and the transactions. Check this before choosing a structure.
- Since 1 March 2026, foreigners without a permanent residence permit who work in a company in Georgia generally need a right to work. Some management roles are exempt — check your case.
What to prepare for a consultation

Questions
How long does registration take?
NAPR's standard term is one working day; for a higher fee, same day. Preparing documents and powers of attorney can take longer.
Can an LLC be registered remotely?
Yes, through a representative under a power of attorney prepared for use in Georgia. The certification procedure depends on the country where it is signed.
Does an LLC give a residence permit?
No. Residence permits have their own grounds. A company can matter for a work residence permit only together with a right to work and other conditions.
