What it is
We open a personal or business account with a Georgian bank. If you are in Georgia, we prepare the documents and accompany you to the branch for 350 GEL. If you are abroad, we open the account remotely under a power of attorney for $300 turnkey. The decision to open an account is always the bank's.
Each bank has its own client acceptance policy. Banks identify their clients and may ask about the purpose of the account, the source of funds, your address or your activity. The questions depend on the bank, the type of account and the client.
For a business account, banks usually also review the company or IE registration, the owners and managers and the expected transactions.
We have no privileged access to banks and cannot influence their decision. Our job is to help you prepare and make the visit efficient.

How to open an account remotely
You sign a notarised power of attorney in your country — we send you the ready text. Once we receive it, we translate it into Georgian, open the account and pass you the account details and online banking access. If you also need an IE, it is better value to order remote IE registration and an account together.
